WILLIAM DUBIE was born in Salem, Massachusetts, and has published poems and essays in many literary and general magazines. His first two collections of poetry were Closing the Moviehouse (Wings Press, 1981) and The Birdhouse Cathedral (Connected Editions, 1990).
